This short film attempts to contextualize the current project to rehabilitate the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (BQE) by examining Robert Moses’ ambitions for the development of New York City. Interviews with residents living in neighborhoods along the highway questions the legacy of this landmark of New York and the role of communities in the process of city-making.
